We were approached by this client to create a unique gauge for his Porsche ’87 911 G model restoration. The project was handled by our design engineer Josh Griffiths who worked with Steve to design an electronic analogue Tachometer with unique and modern accents whilst remaining sympathetic to the original gauge. The dial was created using a combination of laser etching , laser cutting and micro-machining. The raised polished chaplets and raised green numerals convey its uniqueness whilst the font remains in keeping with its heritage. We worked with our supply partners to anodise the dial to give the desired effect.
