Tuthill Porsche is a family business based in Wardington, Oxfordshire, specialising in bespoke Porsche builds and the restoration of Porsche road, race, and rally cars. They have earned a global reputation for their exploits around the world with the iconic Porsche 911.

Tuthill Porsche’s portfolio of road, race and rally cars is impressive; from winning the London to Sydney Marathon in 1993, to preparing the first Porsche 911 to compete in the World Rally Championship for almost thirty years. The team’s cars have won events in every form of motorsport; from the 2015 FIA WRC R-GT Championship in a 997 GT3 R-GT rally car, and European FIA Masters Series Championships through to winning the world-famous East African Safari Classic Rally four times.

The company are founding members of the Peter Auto 2.0 Litre Cup Series and have achieved significant success in classic endurance racing across the UK and Europe. With almost four decades of experience in their field they have established themselves as one of the world leaders in bespoke Porsches for all uses. Their most recent cars to be unveiled are the SCRS 993 and the 911k – both extraordinary road cars for all occasions.

In 2018, CAI were approached by Richard Tuthill, to design an electronic Tachometer for their custom builds. Our engineers worked closely with the team at Tuthill Porsche to develop the electronics for the gauge whilst our designers ensured the aesthetics reflected the authenticity of the originals. The black dial and digitally printed green design capture the style of the early 911, whilst the re-designed font conveys its uniqueness.

CAI are proud of the working relationship established with Tuthill Porsche and have further developed other designs for their Tachometer. The project has allowed us to glean and share our knowledge and has cemented our future in manufacturing both bespoke and standard Porsche gauges.

We continue to work closely with the customer and are helping to develop new gauges for their forthcoming projects. We look forward to working on future designs and strengthening this partnership.
